About the Director

WheelCare.Health is the brainchild of Kirk Knestis PhD, of Reston, Virginia.

Dr. Knestis (“not that kind of doctor”) brings decades of experience to his role as Executive Director of the organization, as a business owner, educator, and social science researcher specializing in the study of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education.

WheelCare.Health is Kirk’s newest endeavor, to give back to the community and keep him out of trouble.
